Lovage is an erect, herbaceous, perennial plant growing to 5.9–8.2 ft tall, but we prefer to clip and eat 'em when they are about 2-3" tall. The stems and leaves are shiny glabrous green to yellow-green and smell somewhat similar to celery.
To start outdoors: Lovage grows well from seed. Start indoors 6-8 weeks before planting outside. Sow 1/4 inch deep. Seeds will germinate in 10-20 days.
