Multicolor geometric chain stitch embroidered rug

Hand embroidered by village craftsmen in Kashmir, India. Size 23"x42" including the hand-knotted fringe. Wool chain-stitch embroidery on cotton. Embroidery completely covers the cloth. Hand knotted fringe and cotton canvas backing, both in burgundy color. Makes a striking wall hanging or accent rug. (Place over a rug pad if using as floor rug.) Beautiful colors -- a combination of burgundy, rust, sage green, white and blues. Geometric design.
