These 40% Silver Kennedy Half Dollars are the last Silver Coins struck by the US Mint for circulation. They were issued between 1965 and 1970. The weight is 11.5 grams with an outer layer of .800 fine silver and .200 copper bonded to an inner core of .209 silver and .791 copper. It has a diameter of 30.6 mm and a net silver content of .1479 ounces. It was struck at three US Mints: Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco. The obverse is the portrait of President Kennedy while the reverse shows the presidential coat of arms. This 40% Silver Kennedy Half Dollar is in circulated condition, dates and mint of our choice. It will be presented in an airtite holder with protective black ring.
