Each Maestro instructional video is designed to help give beginners the best possible start in learning to play any of ten classic musical instruments. From how to care for and hold the instrument to how to actually play it - it's all there. Lasting an average of 52 minutes, each video contains between six and ten lessons presented by highly experienced music teachers in a clear and concise fashion with actual students demonstrating each new skill. Beginners will learn specific techniques as well as the basic notes necessary to play simple songs. Hal earned his Bachelor of Music Degree from the College-Conservatory of Music, University of Cincinnati in 1951 and went on to receive his Master of Music Degree from the same University in 1956. His teaching experience as a Public Educator spans a period of 30 years (1954-1984). Hal has taught at various Ohio Public Grade and High Schools and at Wright State University. He has been a Private Instructor and Performer. His Performance Resume includes touring with the Tex Beneke and Glenn Miller Orchestras as well as playing with the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra. From 1958 to the present, Hal has been the Leader and Featured Trombonist of the "Hal Harris Orchestra".
