The year is 2142. Ice has covered most of the planet and depleted nearly all of its natural resources. Humans are left scrambling for the equator, where a sliver of land is still habitable. What awaits them when they arrive will make them question if they should have stayed in their home land. What awaits them when they arrive is complete war.
The land has been divided by two multicultural military superpowers. Players choose to fight for either the European Union, or the Pan Asian Coalition. Each side of the conflict is armed with an incredible array of futuristic weapons, including assault rifles, cloaking devices, EMP grenades and smart mines. Players may also take the controls of gigantic battle walkers and flying titans. Customize your soldier with the assets that best fit what you want to accomplish. Become a medic sniper, a recon engineer or much more. Play with up to 64 other players online, making this a multiplayer game of epic proportions. Battlefield 2142 begs the question: when this war is over, will there be any land left at all?
