ER semantics

This piece of original art, not posted as part of the webcomic but included in the Year 1 book, is part of the "Ouch" storyline. It's a single panel that encapsulates some of the humor to be found in the situation--because there's always humor in every situation, even if that situation includes spending 6 hours in a hospital waiting room only to get 4 stitches and have to cancel a camping trip that weekend.

Black archival ink on (4.25 by 8.5 inch) bristol with an additional piece included in the sleeve for stability. Image size is about 3 3/4 by 4 5/8 inches.
