BARBADOS, West Indies - 1980s Map & Guide Brochure
Description: Here's a very nice fold-out brochure promoting the island of Barbados in the West Indies. One side is occupied by a large map of the entire island, accompanied by a smaller street map of the capital of Bridgetown. At the bottom of the island map is a listing of the island's hotels, guest houses, and apartments, all keyed to locations on the map. The other side of the brochure is devoted to a list of the attractions Barbados has to offer. There are brief descriptions of two dozen "Places of Interest", another two dozen "Historic & Scenic Sites", and then 11 more "Places of Interest in Bridgetown".
Size: approx. 9" x 4" (closed), opening to approx. 18" x 16"
Date: Doesn't seem to be dated, but likely from the 1980s or earlier.
Condition: Very good, I'd say. The brochure is clean and fresh, with just a few mild thumb bends. There are no tears or extraneous markings. (Please see photos.)
