VIDEOTAPE CARE:
For proper VHS Use and Longer Wear:
Rewind Tape before recording or ejecting. Removal of cassette that has
been stopped midway may result in damage or breakage. Splicing or handling the tape
directly is not recommended.
To avoid Accidental Erasure:
Remove the tab on the spine of the cassette. To record again, simply cover the hole with a piece of adhesive tape.
To Prevent Moisture Damage: Wait two hours before using a cassette that has been brought inside from a cool place. Condensation may form on the surface of a tape
under these circumstances
and can damage both the tape and your VCR heads. Never leave a tape in or near direct sunlight, other heat source, electric wires and or magnetic sources(electrical wires, etc.).
For Proper Storage:
- Make sure the tape is evenly rewound. If it is not, rewind again.
- Always place cassette in its storage sleeve when not in use.
- Store cassette in a vertical position.
- Store cassette away from dust, direct sunlight, humidity, heat sources and strong magnetic fields.
For Maximum Performance Value:
To minimize excessive noise or distortion occurring during playback, VCR head cleaning cassettes are recommended.
