Audrey Grendahl Kuhn (1929- ) was born in Chicago, and studied art at the University of Michigan, the College of Architecture and Design, Russell Sage College and the College of St. Rose in Albany, New York. Her pastel landscapes and modern still lives reflect the energy of their subjects with soft yet bright colors. Her work drew much attention at the New York Art Expo in the 1980's. Later, she spent the winter months in Mexico, where she drew new inspiration from the vibrant scenery. She has since won awards and is listed in "Who's Who in American Art". Her art can be found in many galleries and corporate and private collections throughout the U.S. and the world.
