INSTRUCTIONS:
1.Insert the flash drive
2.restart computer upon restart before the chime hold down the option key (you might have to try a couple of times)
this will take you to the booting screen
3.using the cursor keys choose the operating system then hit enter
4.once in the installer you can install from there by following on screen instructions
Also note that the most common issue experienced when installing on older macs is that there is a message displayed that suggests the application is somehow damaged, but in reality the issue can be fixed by just changing the date and time on the computer so that it is closer to the date when the digital certificate for the installer was created.
