Description: Here's a nice and informative fold-out brochure covering the Lava Cast Forest Geologic Area in the Deschutes National Forest near Bend, Oregon. It was published by the Northwest Interpretive Association in conjunction with the U.S. Forest Service. It provides a history of the volcanic activity in the area and details several points of interest along the one-mile Lava Cast Forest Interpretive Trail.

Date: Not explicitly dated, but I believe it's from the mid-1990s or earlier.
Condition: Excellent, I'd say, with no discernible signs of use. (Please see photos.)
