Fostoria Ruby Red Coin Nappy With Handle
This beautiful ruby red nappy by Fostoria Glass Company is in very good condition. On the inside edge of one of the scollops is a ruff spot. It appears to have been a glass bubble that broke during manufacture. There are a couple of very small scratches in the bottom on the dish.
The glass is detailed with two frosted coins alternating around the bowl. One is the LIBERTY TORCH, and the other is an EAGLE with the date 1887.
It measures approximately 2" tall. Diameter is 5 1/4" rim to rim. It is 6 1/4" across if you include the handle.
A nappy would be ideal for candy, nuts or even trinkets and jewelry!
If you collect coin glass, you know some of the pieces are quite heavy.
As with all vintage depression glass, there may be minor imperfections such as straw marks, bubbles, molding flaws and color variations which do not diminish the value of the piece.
All glassware will be shipped in a box with adequate packing to prevent breakage and sent by priority mail.
