Our Peppermint Salve Is one of our personal favorite's. We have found so many diffrent use's for peppermint that I just don't know if we could live without it. Because of current rule's I can't share all the benefit's of the herb's I use but would encourage YOU to look it up on google. We can suggest it's uses to help lighten the mood, may help with headaches, may help with breathing, may help relax, may help sore muscle's, ache's and pain's.
All of our Herbal Salve's are made using our Herb Infused oil's. When we infuse our herb's, we use 1 pound organic dried herbs per every 2-4 gallons of oil. We then let this herbal/ oil mixture infuse for a minimum of 6 week's but often time's longer. By doing this our Salve's retain more of the benefit's that herb's have to offer than traditional essential oil's because of the method used to produce such oil's.
To make essential oil steam is used to extract the oils from the plant but in the process the heat from the steam burn's off many of the benefits that could have been used. And secondly, by using the infusion method we use much less herb's than essential oil do.
We use a pound a herb for a few gallons, essential oils for the same amount sometimes need over a literal TON of herb's to make the same amount of oil.
