These screws are zinc plated plus clear chromate conversion, just like the original Honda screws.
The whole point of the zinc plating is a galvanic sacrifice of itself to the carburetor, while keeping the steel of the screw coated so it doesn't rust. As the years go by, zinc plating will turn dull and vanish from the screw. If you have original CV screws, you will probably see traces of rust on the threads first. The rust is coming from the steel screw, because galvanic corrosion stripped the screw threads of their zinc plating. That is the end of life for the screw.
If you want shiny chrome plating, you should choose the other CV screw kit that costs double.
