Health benefits of Kidney Bean tea



Kidney beans whether pink or red color variety are no doubt a treasure trove of health benefits. For cooking purpose it is recommended that they be soaked in water overnight and then washed thoroughly next day which helps in removal of flatulence producing sugars – raffinose type ologosacchharides.



Kidney beans are botanically known as phaseolus vulgaris and are rich in dietary fiber hence helping in reducing sugar and cholesterol levels in the body. Due to this property they are considered a good food for diabetics and people suffering from hypoglycaemia.
