Handmade bookmark for all of you book lovers!
This is made from black cardstock, on top of patterned paper. It is double-sided, so that you do not have a white back. The tassel is also handmade, and a bit fancy, from embroidery thread, a glass bead, and aluminum finding. Finally, the bookmark is laminated to make it water resistant.
I wanted to do something interesting and quick, and since I am a book lover, making bookmarks made sense. I made sure that the glues that I used to hold the layers together are archival, so this is a bookmark that will last a long time.
Size (not including tassel): 3-1/8" X 8-1/2" (includes the laminate edge)
Tassel length: Approximately 4-1/4" with 3-1/2" attaching string, for a total of 7-3/4"
