Handmade bookmark, laminated so that it is also water resistant.
The bookmark itself consists of four layers of paper, glued back to back, so that it is two-sided. The inner two layers are printed paper, and the outer layers are solid-core cardstock. After gluing the bookmark together, it was laminated to make it water resistant, and then the tassel was added.
The tassel is made from 100% cotton crochet thread, topped with an aluminum beadcap and a glass bead, so that it is a bit fancy. The tassel is also made by the artist.
