****We have many in stock to help with aiding in a healthy lifestyle. Please choose your option & see below what that specific herb can be used for.****

RED RASPBERRY LEAF - Properties; astringent, tonic, hemostatic, antiseptic, antiabortient, parturient, antigonorrheal, antileucorrheal and antimalarial. As well as stimulant, alterative, stomachic, anti-emetic and cathartic. Medians/Organs affected; spleen, liver, kidneys, uterus/reproductive organs of males and females. History; has been eaten and drunk since prehistoric times. Historically, used as a mouthwash to heal canker sores, cold sores, and gingivitis. Combined with slippery elm, used to cleanse wounds and burns, and promote healing. In Tibetan medicine, the leaves are used to cure emotional disturbances, exhaustion, irritability, and chronic infections. The Chippewa made a tea of my root bark and washed the eyes three times per day for cataracts. The Chippewa also used me dysentery and measles. The Ojibwa used a decoction of the root for bowel complaints in children. All parts are used for their many medicinal properties. A decoction of the flowers has been used for pimples, hemorrhoids, malaria. As a poultice for eye inflammation, as well as to reduce fevers. Make into a vinegar and use for sore throats and coughs. In large quantities, berries have been used as a laxative and diaphoretic. They have also been used to ease rheumatism and indigestion. The juice from the my berries was used for fevers, childhood illnesses, and cystitis. According to MDidea..com, “Gerard believed ‘the fruit is good to be given to those what have weakened and queasie stomachs’.” The fruit has also been used for anemia, gum disease, reducing a fever, easing digestion, sobering drunkenness, and stomachaches. The leaves contain 83.1% water when fresh 6.7% water when dried, and 6% sugars in the forms of sucrose, fructose, and glucose. Although there is a high aluminum content, this is not the same inorganic aluminum that has been linked to Alzheimer’s. The aluminum present in me is organic and easily assimilated by the body rather than accepted and stored, which leads to disease. The leaves have also been used for diarrhea, to wash the eyes, and for a female tonic, especially in pregnancy. Considered the herb for pregnancy in the 3rd trimester, it tones and nourishes uterine muscles, rich in vitamins, minerals and high in iron. It enriches and increases flow of milk and safely restores your system following childbirth and contrary to popular belief, is safe for pregnancy. Puberty? Make it easier for your daughters and yourself! A girl approaching puberty should drink a cup (or more) daily and the same of blessed thistle tea. These supply the estrogen materials her body will require. Continue to drink these throughout the teenage years. They taste pleasant, and you can sweeten them and cool them in the refrigerator for a healthy substitute for soft drinks.
