>>>DESCRIPTION:
This is a NEW steel center bolt that fits the arms of most side pull brakes, but not all of them. It is for the FRONT brake. The distributor is SUNLITE. It is meant to be used as a replacement part for most side-pull rear caliper brakes. It is not in a factory package because we buy them in bulk.
The diameter of the bolt is about 6 mm. You can see in the picture a thick pad that is fastened to the post. That pad has slots on one side for a spring. The thickness of this pad is about 9 mm. The spring is NOT INCLUDED.
The length of the part of the bolt that is on the same side as the slots is about 22 mm. That is shown on the right side of the picture. On that part of the bolt, there is one metal washer, 1 plastic spacer washer, one red thin metal washer with the name of the manufacturer "Alhonga" on it, one regular type nut, and one nut for the end of the bolt which you should tighten very tight against the other nut while holding the other nut with a thin wrench to keep it from turning while you are tightening.
The length of the part that goes through the fork is about 51 mm. That is the part of the bolt that is on the opposite side from the slots, which is the left part in the picture,. It has 2 concave washers, one metal washer, and one nut with a nylon insert to help prevent it from loosening.
