This is a NEW adjusting barrell for most sidepull brakes. Your brake inner cable goes thyrough this barrel.
The outside diameter of the threaded part of the barrel is 6 mm including the threads. It fits most side pull brakes, but may not fit all.
There may be some sidepull brakes it doesn't fit, I don't know.
