On this CD there are no less tan 74 software packages for web site content management. The features and operational details that one may wish for in a CMS are conditioned by the circumstances as well as the orientation of the prospective users. Both of these factors are highly variable, and this is the reason that so many developers have elected to write their own software aids to content management. However, it is possible that one of these many packages might be just the thing for you. In any event, this CD will make it much easier and less time consuming to experiment with a number of packages.You will need one or more of the commonly available utilities to expand compressed archives, such as tar, PKUNZIP or WinZip, etc. Most are distributed as source. Programs may need to be compiled, and have their individual installation procedures. The various packages are at different levels of maturity and completeness, and I cannot certify that they are all worthwhile for any particular purpose. You will have to judge for yourself, but there is a lot to choose from.
