Rainy Day Superwash Sock Yarn is 75% Wool, 25% Nylon and is hand painted. The 350 yard skein will make socks up to Women's size 12. For an additional $5 fee, I will custom knit you a pair of socks using this yarn, just request socks and give me your shoe size when placing order. Sizes available are women's shoe size 7 through Men's shoe size 14.
The yarn is hand wound on a dying board, hand painted using acid dyes, Steamed for 40 minutes, hung to dry and skeined. It is made in my dying studio located at Fernwood Woolworks in the Pacific Northwest. I've included in the picture a pair of hand knit socks to show the self patterning effect you will get when knitting. Finished socks are also available thru www.connectedbyathread.com

Each dye lot is unique, be sure to order sufficient quantity for your project.
