New Yarn color for Fall 2007 Candy Corn.
The image was snapped with the sock in the background and the remaining skein on the spool to show you the yarn pattern.
Rainy Day Superwash Sock weight Sock Yarn is 75% Wool, 25% Nylon and is hand painted. The 350 yard skein will make socks up to Women's size 12. For an additional $5 fee, I will custom knit you a pair of socks using this yarn, just request socks and give me your shoe size when placing order.
The yarn is hand wound on a dying board, hand painted using acid dyes, Steamed and 40 minutes, hung to dry and skeined. It is made in my dying studio located at Fernwood Woolworks in the Pacific Northwest. I've included in the picture a pair of hand knit socks to show the self patterning effect you will get when knitting.
Enjoy this unique work of art as you watch the pattern bloom while you knit your socks.
Each dye lot is unique, be sure to order sufficient quantity for your project.
