Mole went on to have many new adventures spanning almost 50 years and has become something of a Czech icon.These two books are official Krtek (mole) products from the Czech Republic, each picture is 21cm x 15cm and on one side is the coloured version and on the other is the black outline version for you to paint yourself. There are two titles 'How Mole goes on Holiday' and 'Mole and the Flood'. The flood book tells a story of how the heavy rains come, they try to save the house, the water overcomes them and knocks it down, then they mole and his friends rebuild it and have a party. The holiday book features mole in a helicopter, a plane, skiing, in a space rocket and a steam locomotive.Most importantly these are licensed products of Zdenek Miler featuring original artwork.Each book features 8 pictures to colour in, so 16 to work on in all. Some of the pictures are simple to colour, like the space rocket, others are more complicated like the house (both shown below), so it should suit a wide range of skill levels.
