One of a kind hand painted quilted pursed made of Tussah silk. The strap is also made with silk and hand painted a solid color dark gray.
Colors are pale yellow, ivory, grays and dark blue.
It is a Unique piece of artwork and would make a nice lingerie and jewelry bag for travelling.
The silk is painted with three layers of dyes and different drying times between layers. This is a unique technique I have developed over the years. Please note that I "concoct" all my silk dyes and they are permanent. Most of my silks are actually hand-washable but anything done with this technique is better off dry-cleaned because of the use of resist.
