Wishmaster is the story of an ancient creature called the Djinn (Andrew Divoff). This creature has the ability to grant someone their own wildest dreams but can twist those dreams into a horrible nightmare. Long ago in Persia this evil creature was sealed up within a fire gem and then encased in stone where he couldn’t harm another living soul for all eternity. Now hundreds of years later, during transport between museums, the statue is damaged and the gem falls out. Alexandra Amberson (Tammy Lauren) accidentally awakens the Djinn while examining the gem. Now the Djinn wants to grant three of her wishes and then he can be permitted to conquer Earth. The Djinn pursues Alexandra with all manner of ruses to trick her into making her three wishes but Alexandra stops running and makes her stand against the evil genie.
