I love painting and knitting, so when I saw these beautiful unpainted little embossed paper mache boxes, I knew I wanted to make something special out of them. I wanted to make something that would be attractive to keep on display and at the same time have a practical purpose. Well, the shabby chic pin cushion was born.
With the holidays just around the corner I thought it would be nice to share them with you. They will make a lovely gift for a special friend or family member.
The box is paper mache and has a depth of about 3".
It has been painted with a crackle finish using acrylic craft paints.
You will receive the same pincushion shown in the picture.
The headpins shown are included.
The yarn is by Noro.
