Here is a 1st Edition of a fun vintage hard cover book (with a bit of a tattered dust jacket) titled... CORN BEEF AND CAVIAR (For The Live-Aloner) by Marjorie Hillis and Bertina Foltz from 1937. Book measures about 8 inches tall by 5-1/2 inches wide with 196 pages, including index.
The dust jacket shows some wear and tears at the top and bottom edges from reading, age and re-shelving. INSIDE there is some writing in pencil on the inside front and back covers from used bookstores. Otherwise, the pages are at least 98% free of any marks, stains or writing. There is some foxing around the edges of the pages from age.
This vintage cookbook is perfect for the old school foodie/cookbook collector!
