This set has been cleaned tested and works perfect. Both pieces require 2 AA Batteries and are not rechargable. Included in the combo is the keyboard which is enhanced with internet buttons, 2 Button Optical Mouse with Scroll wheel and a USB sensor unit. Both the mouse and keyboard is plug and play and drivers are provided with Windows. This is compatible with all versions of windows from 98 to Vista. We have not tested it with Windows 7. Warranty is 30 days
