In celebration of this country's bicentennial, the Post Office issued a sheet comprised of 50 distinct and colorful stamps - the first time a sheet was released with 50 different varieties attached. Each stamp represents the flag of one of our 50 states. Interestingly, the stamps were placed on the sheet in the order they were admitted to the Union.
