Miles entered the 2000 NBA Draft and was selected by the Los Angeles Clippers as the third overall pick, at the time the highest a player had been drafted directly from high school. Miles played for the Los Angeles Clippers (2000-2002), Cleveland Cavaliers (2002-2004), Portland Trail Blazers (2004-2008) and the Memphis Grizzlies (2008-2009).
