This ticket stub is for the Saturday, November 1, 1958 Army Black Knights vs Colgate Red Raiders game played at Michie Stadium in West Point, New York. Ticket has a face value fo $4.00 and shows two flags, one for each team. Led by head coach Red Blaik, the Black Knights collected 522 offensive yards, 279 rushing and 243 passing, while holding the Red Raiders to 13 yards rushing and 142 passing, outclassing them 68-6. Army intercepted 5 Colgate passes and Army fullback Jim Kennedy and halfback Bob Anderson each scored twice while Team Captain Pete Dawkins caught a 75 yard pass. Army's Steve Waldro, Glen Adams, Gil Rossler, Rus Waters and Roger Zaliska (40-yard interception), each score a TD in 10-touchdown victory. Army played every member on it's bench, many who had never played in a varsity game, and one player, guard James D. Miller, who wasn't even on the program roster. Army would finish the season with an undefeated 8-0-1 record and was ranked #3 in the nation.
