Front and back scans of cards are shown below.Former professional baseball player Steven Norman Carlton was born on December 22, 1944 in Miami, Florida. Steve "Lefty" Carlton was an extremely focused competitor and one of the most successful pitchers of all time. He thrived on the mound with a hard, biting slider complemented a great fastball. Carlton played for the St. Louis Cardinals (1965-1971), Philadelphia Phillies (1972-1986), San Francisco Giants (1986), Chicago White Sox (1986), Cleveland Indians (1987) and the Minnesota Twins (1987-1988). Some of Carlton’s honors include: 10-time All-Star member; 4-time Cy Young Award Winner (1972, 1977, 1980 & 1982); 2-time World Series Champion (1980, 1987); led the league in wins 4-times (1972, 1977, 1980 & 1982); led the league in strike outs 5-times (1972, 1974, 1980, 1982 & 1983).
