  • Description
Dam this is a cute beaver by *Steiff, wink, wink. Here we have Nagy the Beaver done in Mohair by *Steiff/Germany. He was bought like our other Steiffs by our family when he came out and was then packed away all these years. The Nagy line was made between 1959 and 1967. He is in good condition, has his tag and button (#4310.00, this number also went to several other Steiff animals, Raccy
Raccoon, Wittie Owl, Robby Seal and a few more). Nagy is around 3 1/2 inches tall and is more then eager to make you smile. A cute addition to any Steiff collection or as a gift. His video is coming soon.

*(Steiff is the world’s oldest plush manufacturer. Founded in 1880 by Margarete Steiff, a seamstress who was limited to sewing with one hand due to
polio, the company has grown to be synonymous with top quality the world over.Steiff is best known as the company that invented the Teddy bear. In 1902, Richard Steiff, a nephew of Margarete and a gifted artist/inventor, presented the idea to Margarete. At first, she was not enthusiastic. But with Richard’s persistence, she finally relented. And the rest is history. The famous “Button in Ear” trademark, introduced by Franz Steiff, another of Margarete’s nephews, in 1904, distinguishes every Steiff Teddy bear or animal).
