MiniMash Lauter Tun

The MiniMash Lauter Tun is a round, 15 gallon tank that will hold up to 35 lbs of grain. Tank is 21 3/4" tall by 15" in diameter. The flat screen sits on a ledge in the tank about 1 1/2" above the bottom with a middle leg for added support. The screen holes are 3/32", ideal for a good filter bed. 5/16" thick walls provide mass for strength and good insulation. Our plastic Transfers BTUs 100,000 times slower than stainless steel based on BTU transfer rate on a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) test at Exxon. Sometimes a blanket or neoprene is needed for insulation in colder climates. The thermometer threads places the stem just above the screen so when you stir you do not have to worry about breaking the thermometer stem. Also inclued is a sparge head and sight glass plus extra threads in the rear for RIMs hook up. Plugs are provided for the extra threads The MiniMash Lauter Tun ships ready to mash.
