GOOD NEIGHBOR SAM PPB 1ST PRINT SPECIAL EDITION - 1963 Simon & Schuster Paperback Edition, Stated First Printing, but with special insert on page prior to title page stating (see photo): "This special edition of GOOD NEIGHBOR SAMis for your personal enjoyment and to give you a preview ofwhat we're betting will be theseason's top comedy. - Peter Schwed - ESSANDESS" Schwed was executive editor and a vice-president at Simon & Schuster; presumably this copy was sent to a select group of individuals in anticipation of the movie "Good Neighbor Sam" coming out in the theaters in 1954. Some minor cover wear and yellowing but in good shape.
