I'm not sure if it's Asian or Oriental. The scene has gold accents, the spout is damaged (see pic.) It would look nice with some flowers in it and a single one in the spout to cover up it's misfortune. It measures about 5 3/4' tall, and about 8" in length and is a bit over 4" in diameter or wide. A maker's Mark is on the bottom but I do not recognize it.
