DESCRIPTION:
The Boston Acoustics LCAi220 is an in-wall local zone amplifier that switches between a central audio source (when connected to a whole house audio system), and a local source such as an iPod or TV. In standby mode, the local speakers are amplified by the whole house amplifier. When an input signal is detected from either the high/low level inputs, or a 12V trigger/video input, the LCAi220 becomes a high quality Class AB local amplifier for in-room speakers. A built-in 12 dB/octave high pass filter can be set to 30 Hz or 80 Hz for when a local subwoofer is present. Built into the back of the amplifier is a 12 dB/octave 80 Hz low-pass filtered subwoofer line level output. In-wall frame and power supply included. RoHS compliant.
