This clothes hand wringer may look antique, like it was made a hundred years ago but it's brand new, yet built as tough as those made back when wringers were used regularly for hand laundry clothes washing.

This hand powered laundry wringer can remove a large amount of the water from the clothes run through it depending on the fabric. It works for bulky items such as wringing towels and chamois. It's great for thin items too (adjustable roller wringer). Use it at work, garages, car washes, motels, swimming pools, beach, lake, city water parks, hospitals, industry and your home. Wringing provides quicker drying to clothes, chamois, towels, rags, bathing suits, etc. and keeps the laundry day to a minimum compared to trying to air dry soaking wet clothing.

Built tough, this hand wringer has a rustproof, all-steel frame, steel tube handle, and zinc plated finish. Hard maple wood bearings that hold the rollers in place never need oil. A single, adjustable screw applies pressure at the top center of a flat, tempered steel spring. So pressure is balanced over entire length of wringing rollers. Attaches to buckets, pails, stationary tub, portable tubs, round wash tubs, square wash tubs, oval wash tubs or mop bucket. Clamps open wide to 1.76" but a shim maybe needed to clamp tight on a thin steel tub edge. Great for the homemade laundry day, as a chamois wringer and towel wringer too. The best hand wringer available.

For best performance the wringer does need to be mounted on a firm location. The ability to turn the handle when wringer rollers are tightened down requires a lot of torque and a stable and secure base for the wringer is required to get more into turning the rollers vs simply rocking the whole ringer back and forth. It can take a couple times through in order to get the most water out of the clothing article.

The two wringer rollers have a usable width of 11 1/4" inches between the uprights and can be adjusted apart about 1/2 inch at the widest.

The rollers are made of hard rubber bonded to a steel metal shaft (Note the shaft of the roller is not zinc coated so is subject to oxidation/rust). On the durometer hardness scale the rubber rates at a 50. Which is about twice as hard as a rubber band but not as hard as a car tire tread. The size of wringer's metal frame is 15.5" wide and with the handle attached it extends to 29". The frame height is 8.5" and extends to 10.25" counting the tension screw
on top. The frame is 2" deep with a 6" drip tray the slides into the frame under the rollers.

The unit weighs in at approx. 14 lbs assembled. With a shipping weight of about 16 lbs.

Note: the e-clip on the circular pressure plates of the clamps can bind with the plate and come off when loosening the clamp causing the circular plate to fall off.
