It is made with sheer natural mulberry silk chiffon 8mm. The shawl is machine hemmed with a fine satin stitch that ripples and flutters the edges, giving the shawl a soft feminine look.
Versatile and classy, light, very soft, flowing, luxurious and elegant. Great shawl for Summer, nice scarf for Winter.
NATURAL SILK CHIFFON: Silk chiffon 8mm is very feminine, feather light and very romantic, perfect for weddings. It is delicate, transparent soft and lightweigt. It is woven with twisted yarns, which gives the matte silk an interesting drape and a crinkly texture.
The edge of the shawl is machine hemmed with a "cording" stitch that ripples and sort of scallops the edge all around graciously, creating a light stiffness that makes the edge artistic and wavy, and giving a soft feminine look.
