This is a great sequined top from a quantity of glamourous clothing I found at an estate sale for a woman who had been both an avid collector and entrepreneur with shops in the southwest. The clothing had been stored for some time; most things survived well.
This is a very feminine and dainty top, done in a winter white wool and embroidered all over with clear iridescent sequins in clusters. There are rows of the same sequins around the neckline and sleeve edges. It is completely lined in white. The bust measures 17" across lying flat, measured under the armholes. It's about 22" in length.
The charming part of this top is a delicate floral motif done in the palest of pink sequins. It gives quite a lovely look. Oddly enough the name on the label has been cut out, leaving the 100% wool, the 100% rayon lining, WPL 11935, and Made in Hong Kong.
