Other than a slight bit of paint loss to the red painted areas, there are no chips, cracks, repairs or crazing to note on either shaker. There are no makers marksfound ~ both have their cork stoppers. Purchased at a local estate sale which consisted of mainly 1930's-1950's items, each of these unique shakers measures approximately 4 1/2" tall, 2 1/4" wide and 1 1/2" front to back. Theydefinitely don't make them like these two anymore! Both "Chefs" are attired in a white outfit ~ one wears a red Chef Hat with white Elf Shoes and the other wears a white Chef hat with red Elf shoes. The "Chef" with the red hat appears to be pouring a cup of coffee, while the other looks to be preparing to carve up a turkey or rack of lamb! Just look at their charming faces, complete with those unmistakable Elf-like ears. What a perfect addition to any collection - especially for that special cook or restaurateuron your list!
