In addition to a suite of bilingual, bidirectional English-Chinese dictionaries, it provides interactive electronic multimedia courses covering Chinese characters, the Chinese phonetic system and alphabet, grammar, and pronunciation. The NC200 is not just limited to English and Chinese—it also includes dictionaries for French, Spanish, German, Japanese, Korean, and Russian.
While there are many other electronic Chinese-English dictionaries and language learning devices on the market, they are all designed for Chinese students learning English and lack many of the features that a learner of Chinese needs.
