HANGMAN'S TREE, Boot Hill Cemetery, Dodge City, Kansas - Unused Post Card
Here's a very nice unused postcard featuring the Authentic Hangman's Tree in the Boot Hill Cemetery in Dodge City, Kansas.
The description on the back reads:
In this plot the unfortunate cowboys found their last resting place after losing an argument, that was settled with the frontier six shooter or a rope. Three men were definitely known to be hanged on this tree and how many others, only the tree could tell us.
The card is identified as Plastichrome by Colourpicture of Boston, Mass. It bears number "P33862".
Size: approx. 5-1/2" x 3-1/2"
Date: Not dated, but I'm fairly certain the card is from the 1960s.
Condition: Fine, I'd say, with just some very slight edge wear. (Please see scans.)
MULTIPLE ITEM SHIPPING DISCOUNT: I will ship up to 4 cards for the single base shipping charge shown. For purchases of more than 4 cards, the shipping charge will increase by just a small increment for every 4 additional cards.
