Matted Mushroom Print

This print was inspired by a mystery. Fall comes and with it the leaves turn, the grass grows green, and every where the earth smells moist and rich. Some time in the night a spore awakens and come morning a scattering of white soft globes push their way through the grass. Some fungi we eat, some fungi eat us. They produce toxins effective at killing us and seducing us. They grow from the energy produced by digestion yet they are more similar to plants than animals.
