The original one is a Chinese national treasure of Song Dynasty now displayed in Shaanxi History Museum. This magic kettle has no lid at the top, the opening is at the bottom, the kettle was to be turned upside down to fill in water. When the kettle is filled with water, it will be turned upright, and will not leak from the bottom. The kettle marks a clever application of the physical principle that “the water leveling communicating vessels always remains level”.
