They have a hook/eye closure above a zipper in the front and 4 decorative, but functional buttons (see photo). 2 Side Hip Pockets + 1 inch slits are at the sides of these great shorts.

There are also 2 pockets in the back of these shorts with buttons that do close the pockets cute and a great deal for spring break!

They are 100% cotton, feel similar to jean shorts!
