Solanum pyracanthum, 20 seeds

Wicked-looking tropical perennial related to tomatoes, potatoes and tobacco. Bears starry, purple flowers that resemble tomato flowers. Orange thorns along both the top and under side of the gray-green leaves, and all along the stems. Very frequently visited by butterflies and the big black bees, surprisingly. After flowering, little berries are formed. If you're looking for a mean looking plant that bites, this is IT! 3 feet tall. Full sun and warm soil. Usually available only in plant form. Hard-to-find but easy-to-grow seeds, harvested 06/2011 & 10/2011 - 11/2011 & 02/2012.
