This is a truly unique educational product. This is the Solar System completely to scale. The distances between planets and the sizes of the planets are set at 1:127,420,000,000 scale. This is a great way to let your students appreciate the vastness of space. Each planet is presented on a durable laminated card, with correctly scaled planet on one side, and information about the planet on the other. These cards are attached to a 150 foot rope at the appropriate distance from the sun. NOTE: These planets are extremely small. Jupiter, the largest planet, is 1.1 mm in diameter.
