Made in Occupied Japan Small Teapot
This is a cute vintage teapot made in occupied Japan. The color is in a dark brown glaze with a light floral design with some geometric shapes. Still retains some of it's gold trim. Is around 3 inches tall, good condition and is signed on the bottom (not sure what the GM or MG stands for, have done research and some say it might be MENSCHIK-GOLDMAN, but we are not sure. They were a company that made products of this type. Until more research is done on Made in Occupied Japan marks this one still remains unidentified). There were many different designs made for this type of teapot back in the late 40's early 50's. Would make a nice addition to any teapot collection or for collectors of made in occupied Japan items.
